Busy and artistic block

Yo! Long time no posting a journal, nee? Now I got a free moment and can give you an update on my whereabouts (I'm not dead... yet. :roll: )

I haven't post anything for ages since I've been on work. I need money for my London - trip with my best friend. It's a month long job in my home municipality - cutting grass. Not as boring as it seems, only seven hour long days and I can even drive the from-top-of - lawnmover. And 612 € for a month+holiday pays is pretty good to me. I can ride to heaven with that in London! Food, culture... and souveniers! I know already I'll search this [link] to my brother - he likes V for Vendetta so much.

Secondly, I have noticed a slight artistic block on myself. Like, I do do some drawings to paper, but my urge to use my tablet is dead by now. Perhaps I'm only tired, and usually I need the "spark" to do something creative on computer. Sadly I can't scan my drawings to computer, so propably you'll have to wait the day when I go to Tampere or until the half of August when school starts again. Of course, when I come back to London I'll add some of our photos in here!

By the time I have relaxed myself physically, reading books. And I finally found Finnish translated Twilight, which I have held interest since Aleina-chan's artworks. A lousy translation I have to say: Here Twilight is Houkutus (spelled as it reads), which is Temptation in Finnish. :jawdrop: Book is somewhat too "girlish" to me, but there was many good parts. I have read it already 4 times. Now I'm waiting for New moon to be returned in to the library.

So basically, no art coming. I have some plans to try to continue my fic, but I made one part too difficult. The one where Diriel tries to make Piccolo jealous by showing interest to Dende. I don't know how to continue from that and how to write it, since my mind want's to go to the time when Dasenrado, their son, is born. Me thinks too much...

Buuuuuuuuut... This is the moment by now. Hope you have patience to wait until I submit art again... ^^;

Very angry to government

I'm sorry you have to see this, my watchers, but this is the only way to calm myself down and erase all those unfortunate things from my heart. And if any of you feels sorry to me or have same feelings as I, please say it. We need those voices more than ever since middle 50's.


Couple of days I have become acquainted with politics of my home country, Finland. Burghers, meaning the Rights are in power now, which is making us - the working class - suffer. Taxes had become higher, which means that normal families have trouble to pay everything and live at the same time, buy food which has grown expensive too, etc. Crouch the poor, and rich ones will become richer, thats their way. And at the same time they dare to say that this government has done the most to pensioners, single parents and infantile families! Everything they have done to them resets thanks to grown taxes!

Do you understand how serious this is? They don't give the working class any chance to live. Live, my friends! If this goes on, all we will have in our lifes is work so the rich ones can live thickly without worries to pay taxes in time and get bread to their families. Where is the rightness in that!? Our country is supposed to be republic - no one is better than another!

Even thought I'm young and haven't fully explored how politics work, I do understand what is good to people. What will our future hold, government arguing only about election money when the Baltic sea is about to die and old Russian activist needs home in our country. And only fraction of our population is those rich people who become rich while working class is becoming even more poor.

To speak the truth , this everything disgusts me. I almost puke when I see the chairman of the Right in TV speaking how they do good to us workers.

I thought we can go this through until new parliament election, but it seems I was wrong. I have fully thought about standing up to my fellow companions in working class. Don't forget: We are humans, we are citizens of our country. We are Finland. We should join our wills and bring the equality and our right to live back, and give the right to lead our country to those who think about us. But this is just my opinion. I can say it because we still have freedom to say our own opinions aloud.


If any of you have got interest to read this this far, I thank you for your patience. This just isn't a thing that can be overlooked and forgotten.

Moomin Is Love

Yes, you all must remember the good old Moomin? Everyone of us might have been scared of the Groke, or laughed to Little My`s temperament, or listened hungrily the stories about Moomin Papa´s memoirs? I know you had! Almost all of our childhood has been concered about the Moomins, yours and mine. My mom told me when I was 2 I ran like an oiled lighting immediately to living room and almost pushed my nose to the screen when I heard Moomin opening music.

And the best thing now, I`ve found it from the net! Original Moomin soundtrack songs by Sumio Shiratori, sang by his wife Emiko Shiratori! I just can`t help but share them with all of you before they are removed.

And some news before the Moomin goodness: Next week will be my last school week, but my practical training continues until June 13th, so I can scan my works in computer and use tablet at home. Then I`ll go to work to the town for a month (cutting grass, oh yeah...), earning over 150 € per week + holiday extra. And then...*trumpet fanfare*... London, here I come! My best friend asked me would I like to go to London with her, and I agreed. We`re planning to go right after my job ends, 3 days and 2 nights. And today we check the hotel and book it. I can`t wait, it`s so awesome!

Sorry for the last journal. Everything messed up (I had fought with my CD - DVD - drive for ages - 50 times DVD - inserting and one computer restart until I could watch my movie). But now I see the light again: Brother coming home from the army after two weeks of straight service, weekend coming... Now I`m happy again. Thanks to creme muffins, the force that can`t be overpowered.

And to get my ass up to posting pretty art (and using tablet during weekends) I`ll restart my Art 100 Challenge with new pics. When doing something else you`ll get the urge to draw fan arts again, you know what I mean.

I hope you can still stand me and my burst ups :blush:
